I've been on the hunt for more pagan black metal in the vein of Kawir recently and this album is really hitting the spot in that regard. Somehow missed this earlier in the year but glad I'm circling back to it now. This thing is full of epic riffs and battle chants from the highest peaks. Ondfødt give you everything you could ask for in a pagan black metal album and then some. Ryan

Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC! Archmage Orladin

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
More bleak, enveloping atmospheric black metal from the masters at the Vendetta label, “aevum” is both harrowing & strangely beautiful. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 30, 2019

This is definitely Boss Level stuff! Not only for Thrash Metal Connoisseurs, for this is food for erveryone with a big appetite for fast and hard music. It Reminds me of Invictas "Halls of Extinction". Great! il-kor
